Hello, I’m Joe Orlando, proud owner of Shingle Rx of the Lowcountry.
I call Summerville, South Carolina home, where I live currently. I have three older boys. We share a strong love for baseball and enjoy everything the Lowcountry lifestyle has to offer. Our family also includes a Sheep-a-doodle and four cats — it’s a full house, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
I’ve spent the past 11 years in the roofing industry. For 10 years, I served as a Regional Manager for a major roofing manufacturer, followed by a year as Vice President with a roofing contractor. Throughout my career, I began noticing a significant shift in homeowners’ needs. Rising insurance deductibles, denied claims, the increasing cost of full roof replacements, and aging roofs that still had life left in them created a gap in the market.
That’s what led me to partner with Shingle Rx. I wanted to provide homeowners with a practical, cost-effective alternative to full roof replacement — a solution that extends the life of their roof without the financial strain of starting over.
